Kesav писал(а):The independent card for Locus becomes in SASPlanet as for "rmaps".После put in a folder maps in a root locus. Having replaced a file "provaiders" it is possible to get online access to leading providers (Bing Nokia Google Yandex). It is a little attention and Locus there is everything that is in SASGIS and even more.

Thanks for reply Kesav, I have been trying some Android mapping applications and
the best performing was Offline Maps from Psyberia. But this app ties up data under a .dat database, for Bing Hybrid BINGHYB.DAT, I have to still discover how to convert datasets to this format. And there is no chance to do bulk cacheing jobs, you need to download by browsing.
Mapitfast and Locus performed OK
Orux maps is a TOTAL MESS.
Locus maps seems promising but I couldn't load any converted maps yet. Good features are "pro".
Rmaps and SAS4android just didn't work. This probably because my phone build.
I have a rooted Alcatel Android 5.0 that I use STRICTLY AWAY from home, for matter of privacy I don't allow it to connect from home. So I have limited time to test these things.
But let's talk clear, NONE OF THESE APPS COMPARE TO SASplaneta
last minute edit:
I just loaded .sqlitedb data to Locus and worked fine, you need to export from SASplanet as Rmaps (Ctrl+A = Selection Manager > Export = Rmaps = All visible layers)
Placed under \Internal storage\Locus\maps
Overlays one or many work fine (no Wikimapia)
This holds true for small data, if we want to translate large datasets... it spells trouble
edit:
I've just converted and loaded a 4Gb data to a MicroSD with no trouble. Locus is very cumbersome application but it works fine.
