How to transfer placemarks

I created several placemarks with different types of icons, structured in several categories and sub-categories.
I would like to tranfer one or more categories to another PC with SASPlanet
If I export the placemarks category as KMZ file, when I’m going to import it in the new pc, its asked to choose the icon.
In this way all imported placemarks will have the same icon and not the original.
No way to transfer the placemarks keeping the original icons ?
Thanks for the help

Just copy placemark database files from SASPlanet directory to another PC.
E.g. Marks.db3 or whatever database you use, check in Placemark Manager.
Or, isn't it easier to copy all files from that directory?

Thanks for your reply.
To copy all palcemarks database (Marks.db3 file) its easy but I mean to copy only a sub-category.
For example, if I want to send someone a track with some points of interest with different icons, which I have stored in a sub-category.

You can export category to db3, don't use kmz.

Just open Options - Maps, I think it is pretty much clear.

Hello there, to export placemarks you can also copy and paste the Marks.db3 file found in the root directory. You need to first close your SASplanet. You can also import those from one proyect to another by dragging the Marks.db3 file from one one to the display of the other.

A dialog will open asking you to store in "New category", you can delete this if you want all your marks to mix up, or you can name a new category.

Settings / Options / Maps you organize your maps. You can purge the list by deleting the zmp folder of the services you dont want so they will reduce the 300 and so defunct services shown on the list.

If you want to group up maps in sub-categories, so that they will show like in a drop-down menu, you have to open your Maps folder

then the sas.maps or sas.plus.maps forders

then you create a folder of your like where you will move your zmp files for the services

you can also go to Settings / Maps Settings / Cache and Other and write down the folder you want the service to group. If you delete the default folder services will show up in a single list.

Hello !

"How to organize maps list with sub-categories and display them a specific order?"

Just open the directory "Maps" in "SASPlanet"
For a list of maps, join them in a same directory, for ex. "World" for the maps like Google, Nokia... Not absolutely necessary but practical. You can create subdirectory if you want.
Then for a list for ex. "sat", just open each zmp.
Open file "params".
- First, you have to create a sub-menu with the line "ParentSubMenu="
for ex . "ParentSubMenu=World-Sat".
- Second, you have to give the order of the map in the submenu with the line "pnum=".
For ex. "pnum=08".
That's all !
After, just open SASPlanet and verify if the choice is good or not.
Otherwise, just repeat until complete satisfaction.

You can create a subdivision of submenu, for ex
ParentSubMenu=Spain\Regions\Andalousia.
